User Roles & Permissions

Permissions in FitmentOS determine who can view data, change settings, and complete operational actions.

Typical role groups

• Admin users manage settings, integrations, and user access
• Order users review queues and resolve fulfillment exceptions
• Warehouse users pick, pack, ship, and receive inventory
• Purchasing users create and close purchase orders

Permission review checklist

• Confirm each role has the correct warehouse scope
• Limit settings access to trusted admins
• Separate approval actions from day-to-day execution when needed
• Review disabled users during offboarding

Operational guidance

• Grant the smallest access set that allows the job to be done
• Test a new role with a non-production user first
• Recheck permissions whenever a workflow changes
