Create Manual Orders
Manual orders are used when a sales rep, service team, or operations lead needs to create an order directly in FitmentOS.
When manual orders are appropriate
- Phone or counter sales
- Replacement shipments
- Orders coming from channels not yet integrated
- Internal test orders for workflow validation
Required order details
- Customer and ship-to information
- Warehouse or fulfillment source
- SKUs, quantities, and pricing
- Shipping method and requested service level
Before submitting
- Confirm items and quantities are correct
- Review tax and payment handling
- Add internal notes when the order is non-standard
- Make sure the order enters the correct release status
