Return Station

The return station is where inbound returned items are identified, received, and routed into inspection.

Return station routine

• Locate the RMA or return reference
• Verify item and quantity received
• Separate mismatched or damaged cartons
• Move the item into inspection status

Station controls

• Keep returned goods physically separate from sellable stock
• Record unexpected contents immediately
• Use reason and condition codes consistently
• Hold incomplete returns for review
